This may come as an unpleasant surprise. Obviously, we don’t wish to shock or offend you – the object of the blog entry was to show how different characteristics and behaviours can propel people to leadership roles.
Its less obvious purpose was to show that the characteristics than can enable – or drive – people to positions of leadership may not prove to be desirable for others once they are exercising their new found powers. (Equally, their particular shortcomings may lead to ignominious defeat.)
